The best moisturizers are the ones that can successfully restore moisture to the actual skin cells, instead of just giving a cool and refreshing feeling. This is most effectively done by drinking lots of fruit juices, taking lots of vitamin C, and not through applied moisturizers (seriously.) If you're the kind of person who applies facial moisturizers twice a day, unless you have dry skin you may want to reconsider. Applying moisturizer that often will probably reduce any benefits and can even be counter beneficial. Like lip balm, apply it too often and not only will your skin stay dry, but you might become dependent.

Moisturizers are good however, if you accidentally over dry your skin with cleaning agents. The moisturizer we recommend is Complex 15. It restores moisture to the actual skin cell to the greatest extent possible. It's texture and feel are better than other moisturizers, and it's completely non-greasy.

Lip Balms

Lip balms can have an addictive tendency. They contain petroleum additives which can be excellent exfoilants, but will damage the lips if applied too often. Although they give a nice cooling sensation when first applied, it's short lived. They're better at removing the dead skin cells already on the lips. Carmex is in our opinion, the worst one of them all. If you read the label carefully you'll see it's meant to be an exfoilant, not a lip balm.

Almost every commercial brand of lip balm uses petroleums.
Avoid them.
Use these instead.
